GVVA Race Points for 2005 - Final Tally!

Congratulations to all racers for a tremendous 2005 season! We had a record number of members, and our B category was absolutely overflowing with racers! We'll definitely be looking into a 'C' category for next year!

Below are the final Top 10 for 2005 in both categories. Matt Barlee had a tremendous season with little serious competition, and scored more points than I think we've ever seen! The 'B' category was hotly contested in the final few weeks between track veteran Jim Holtz and newcomer Andrew Olive, but in the end Jim held his lead by 2 points -- doesn't get much closer than that! The speedy Sarah Kirby is our top woman, often beating many of the guys! Also, honorable mention to Bart McCombe, who switched over to the A's after leading the B's in points for half the season! as well. Great work everyone!

I would also like to send out a big thank you to Brenda and Tom Hobor for coming and helping score almost every race! You guys are tremendous!

Looking forward to the 2006 Season, expect another year of fun and challenging racing!
