The GVVA AGM was held November, 23, 2013. The meeting was well attended, perhaps the largest attendance since the reopening of the West Shore Velodrome. Many new members were elected to the board of directors.

Coaching director  Vacant Houshang Amiri may still be interested, if he can ft it in. Having coffee with him today.
Recreation director Jim Pauly Elected on understanding the position will be changed to focus on the rental bike fleet, or another rental bike position created.  Note also that learn to ride and learn to race is not covered by other positions and with Malcolm stepping back, will need attention asap. Alex Hui may be interested.
Additional Technical Directors
Membership Dave Shishkoff 1 year left. Dave has managed the membership database and other web tools for the GVVA as well as ran the league and other events.
Youth Lister Farrar End of term, willing to stand again for 2 years. Main projects include BikeJam, school bike league, FastTrack, Tripleshot 3 day AMYDF camp and races, plus Tripleshot coach.
Women Minda Richardson End of two year term.  Willing to stand again.  Minda also organized women’s rides, the provincials, the Group-on promotion etc, so did much more than this portfolio. Let’s keep her as log as we can. J
Liaison to Victoria cycling festival Wayne Walker Previous director at large, interested to remain as liaison to the festival.
