Results
The 2017 TrackFest 1 track cycling event was held Friday June 16th and Saturday June 17th. Racers self-selected their category between A, B or C, based on ability. The B group was the largest and with the widest age range. Saturday was a full day of racing with many of the competitors choosing to ‘do it all’. In each category the races offered very close exciting finishes. In the B group, for example, the Omnium Gold and Silver were separated by a single point. The weather held for Saturday, with only a bit of a sprinkling of light rain as the day wrapped up with a BBQ and prizing.
A huge thanks for the volunteers, the race organizers at GVVA and the commissaires for making the 2017 TrackFest 1 a huge success.
