GVVA Code of Conduct

At the Greater Victoria Velodrome Association (GVVA), we are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members, athletes, volunteers, and visitors. As part of this commitment, the GVVA adheres to the ViaSport BC Universal Code of Conduct (BC UCC), which sets the standard for respectful and ethical behavior in sport across British Columbia.

By participating in any GVVA activities—whether as a rider, coach, spectator, or volunteer—you agree to uphold the principles outlined in the BC UCC. These include, but are not limited to:

Respect for Others – Treat all individuals with fairness, dignity, and respect, regardless of background, experience, or ability.

Safety and Inclusion – Ensure that the velodrome remains a welcoming and harassment-free space for everyone.

Integrity and Accountability – Uphold the highest standards of honesty, fairness, and ethical behavior in sport.

Failure to adhere to this code may result in disciplinary action as outlined in the BC UCC.
