Learn to Race Program
For those that have taken the Learn to Ride program this is the next step. If you wish to race in either the Monday Sprint series or Thursday Bunch Races this clinic will prepare you for riding in a group in a competitive situation. It will include techniques for starts, pace line riding and proper track etiquette, essential for a safe riding environment.

Open Track Training
Track Pass holders are able to ride at all Open Track Sessions (OTS), otherwise a drop in fee applies. Find out more about fees here. We are very fortunate to have several very experienced riders hosting OTS. Charles Durrant is a sprinting guru, Chris Anstey a multiple medal winner in both Sidney Australia and Manchester England World Track Championships, Malcolm Faulkner a Level 3 Coach and Ryan Arbuckle multi- Para National Champion. They’ll be more than happy to answer your questions and give you pointers. Check the schedule page for times.
Fast Track U19 Program
The Greater Victoria Velodrome Association is pleased to announce Fast Track, a program for youth ages 12-18 to learn to ride and race on the velodrome. Sessions are led by 1992 Track Cycling Olympian, Kurt Innes who is an NCCP level-5 certified Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) and Lister Farrar, a level-2 coach from Tripleshot Youth Racing Team.
