VCL Track Racing – June 19

Sign-on and bike prep 5pm

New Rider Orientation 5pm-6:00pm
If anyone hasn’t been on the track before or needs a refresher, please come at 5pm-6:00pm to get an intro session with the world famous Alex Hui. 

Open Track 6:00 – 6:25pm

Racing 6:30pm, Cats A, B, C

Don’t need a track bike. Just your bring helmet and pedals. Gearing will be ‘equalized’ across all racers for fast fair competition.

Races:

  • Keirin Semi (top 3-4 moves onto major finals depending on group sizes)
  • Scratch Race (A – 30 laps, B – 18 laps, C – laps)
  • Elimination
  • Keirin Tournament

Must have CyclingBC license or be a GVVA member to participate.
