May 22nd Thursday night league racing had 14 participants show up for a cloudy cooler evening than as of late. The evening started with an all-category scratch race, followed by an elimination race and concluded with a win and out. Chris Macleod was on form taking the scratch and elimination race, with Evan Carey taking the first and most important sprint of the Win and Out for the win. No word whether Evaan was running ultra low gearing or not, like he did last Thursday.

Only the top three placings were recorded in each of these events, leaving the B category racers without any results to note. To support better results we have setup a volunteer sign-up form on our web site. The evening’s success depends greatly on volunteers. If you’re a member and not planning to race either Monday or Thursday, please help out the GVVA by signing up for one of the volunteer positions for the weekly GVVA league racing. If you do race, consider asking your friends, or family to help with race results. Coming soon, the GVVA will have race numbers for each league racer. The numbers will make it so much easier for the volunteers to record results.
