VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
What: Season Opening Track Clean-up
When: Saturday March 29, 2014, 1pm – 6pm. (Sunday March 30, 2014 as a weather alternate).
Lots of volunteers needed!
It would be great to see everyone that rides the track through out the season come and help with the track clean up! In prior years this task has been left to a hand full of people who dedicate their free time to making sure the track is rideable for all through out the season. This year we as a Board challenge all trackies to come out and do your part on track clean up day and anytime you can through out the season. We look forward to seeing everyone out on a regular basis doing their part and enjoying the track on or off their bikes.
Jobs to be done frequently
- Weed-eating
- Sweeping the track and infield
- Garbage pick up
- Lawn mowing
- Gate hinge lubrication.
- Power washing (maybe at the start of the season)
- Repairing chips/ cracks in the track (we have the stuff in the club house)
Please bring your own equipment for any track maintenance. This would include gloves, lawn mowers, weed eaters, brooms, and garbage cans for removal of everything.
